Brian Zahnd: What to Do on the Worst Day of Your Life
These days, asking somebody what they would do on the worst day of their life isn't so hypothetical. With people losing their jobs every day, the question that Brian Zahnd poses in the title of his new book has never been more relevant. To answer it, Zahnd, the senior pastor of Word of Life Church in Missouri, uses an example from David's life. He looks at 1 Samuel 30, when David's village was burned and his family captured by a foreign nation, and uses David's response as a template for how to deal with the worst circumstances.
